Lord and Lady Our Lord and Lady will demonstrate all the pomp and ceremony which comes with a travelling court.
These displays vary from 13th -16th Century, with the later periods demonstrating glamping is no new concept with a
four poster bed!
Barber-Surgeon You’d be eating apples every day if your referral was to this doctor! Through the ages our
Barber Surgeon demonstrates medical practices adopted at the time, surprisingly seeing how some have influenced
our modern day practices! Warning though it is not for the faint hearted and may leave you with needing to see a doc….never mind.
Scholars From looking at the wonderful tales told through medieval maps to studying time-keeping degrees at University
using a medieval smart phone, these scholars will show how the world and indeed the universe looked to the medieval mind.
Yes this includes women scholars too!
Medieval Games The gaming consoles of the day! These medieval games promise to keep the family entertained
by testing attributes commonly needed at the time, particular for those going to battle!
Brewster Bring me more ale! This Brewster will have us covered as we delve into the medieval beer-making
process including the ingrediant collecting and how best to drink it! It leaves us with one last question...is
it your round?
Mary Queen of Scots Our representation of Mary Queen of Scots is based on an actual 16th Century portrait
with Lord Darnley. Presenting one of Scotland’s most famous monarchs we discuss many aspects of Mary’s life, from her
birth through to the turbulent return from France and her untimely death.
4th Earl of Morton James Douglas and Elizabeth Douglas We know the question you’re asking...is that the same person?!
May we present to you our very own Earl of Morton James Douglas and his wife. Famous for bringing the Guillotine to
Scotland and providing a full demonstration of it at the end of his life, the Douglas display promises to be captivating
and entertaining.
You have successfully found all the hidden items around the medieval realm displays.
